Cold plunging and breathing exercises can have a rapid and positive effect on our immune system and mental strength. Ice bathing is not about enduring the cold, but rather about learning to consciously relax in challenging situations. Step by step, this helps us to become calmer and more capable of dealing with everyday stressful situations and pressure.

For most people, cold plunging takes a little bit of willpower to overcome, for some a little more. The reward is similarly great: cold training and breathing techniques also strengthen our cardiovascular and nervous systems, reduce inflammation and depressive states, and help us sleep better. WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A Breath & Cold workshop?

In a workshop you get to know the simple and effective way of cold plunging and experience how breathing and cold positively influence your body. You will gain a theoretical insight into the processes that take place in our body when applying the method. You will have the opportunity to take a bathe in cold water and feel how your mental focus and breathing change your sensations. All in all a strong lasting experience, which you can recall in everyday life and which helps you to behave more focused and purposefully in stressful situations (see also testimonials below).

In the five week course you learn the to step by step effectively use the cold & cold plunging and integrate it into your everyday life. In five weeks you build up the necessary physical and mental abilities and you can quickly benefit from the positive effect. We meet once a week for breathing, cold exposure and meditation. During the course you will repeat some exercises on four more days at home.

In all the courses you will learn about Breathwork and the aspects of functional breathing as taught by the Oxygen Advantage method.

 

Are Cold plunging and breathwork suitable for me?

Cold plunging and breathwork is suitable for you if you have a healthy physical constitution and enjoy a fresh challenge - regardless of your age. You will discover new possibilities to support and challenge yourself physically and mentally. Together we will find the right challenge for you. Ice bathing and Breathwork might also be used in case of illness. There are many success stories of people who have been able to alleviate their symptoms or recover thanks to breathing & cold exposure - especially in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and MS or in Lyme disease, depression and burnout syndrome. If you are ill and would like to experience the benefits of cold plunging and breathwork, consult a doctor before starting.
